  • 1/2 cup minced ginger
  • one tablespoon cracked black pepper
  • three tablespoons peanut oil, for searing
  • one tablespoon lime juice
  • one medium size, avocado that is ripe, peeled, pitted, quartered and sliced
  • two cups mixed greens
  • twelve thin slices red onion
  • one medium tomato, seeded, peeled, and diced
  • Ginger Sauce, formula follows
  • Ginger Sauce:One small shallot, minced

Eliminate the tuna from the pan as well as put aside. In a bowl combine tomato, red onion, greens, and the avocado. Toss with several of the Ginger Sauce. Place several of the dressed greens on four plates. Top with sliced tuna as well as drizzle with a few much more of the Ginger Sauce.  Gradually whisk in the coconut oil and then set aside. When ready to deliver, whisk thoroughly to mix.
